How do you tell the time in the dark? Today, the answer might be a digital watch, a cellphone or your bedside clock radio. But in the 17th century, it was quite a different matter. London-based Meridian Design Consultant SMC has completed a remarkable project – a premium Meridian installation in a stunning concrete and glass home overlooking Highgate Cemetery. The home is owned by chartered surveyor and club music mixer Richard Elliott, and the installation has already won several accolades for SMC, including a 2008 CEDIA Award. This remarkable home includes two impressive all-digital Meridian systems, one primarily for music and the other a full 7.1 home theatre."I've had [Meridian systems] since I was in my twenties," says Elliott in a recent Times Magazine interview. "They're the ultimate for sound."

CEDIA Expo is the number one show in the residential electronic systems industry in the US: this year's event was held in Denver, CO, in early September. Meridian, as usual, had a significant presence there.

Between 29th August and 7th September, the elegant, exclusive, cosmopolitan town of St. Moritz, Switzerland, known primarily as a winter skiing resort, played host to the first St Moritz Art Masters festival. Meridian was proud to be one of the partners supporting the event's inaugural year.
